Review summary
Sister Cruise 2019 was a huge success!! After losing our mom 9 months ago, we needed this time to reconnect under happier circumstances. We enjoyed relaxing, sunning, shopping, laughing, sightseeing, beaching, partying, dancing, excursioning, and making new friends. Thank you for providing a "boatload" of fun!!
Embarkation
4 out of 5
There was some confusion curbside with dropping off our bags and parking. However, the process to embark was smooth, easy, and quick.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Food was aplenty!!! My only personal preference would have been more of a variety from day to day both in the buffet and in the dining rooms. Despite the lack of variety, the food was enjoyable and never-ending. By the way - The pizza was AMAZING!!
Main Dining Room

The wait staff was beyond reproach. Very professional, accommodating, and respectful. I would have preferred a variety of choices from day-to-day, however.
Sorrentos Pizza
5 out of 5
I'm a pizza snob. I LOVED this pizza!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Latte-Tudes
5 out of 5
A tip for future cruisers: Drinks about the basic level require two or more punches on your prepaid coffee card.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
I enjoyed the pool, line-dancing, trivia, casino, and karaoke; however, I've been on cruises in the past that had a lot more fun activities and a better variety. There were a large amount of trivia-type activities that could have, perhaps, been replaced with others that may appeal to non-trivia fans.
Photo Gallery and Shop
3 out of 5
We had pictures taken in several places; however, only a few were actually photographs for purchase.I would also have liked to have sizes smaller than 8x10 available.
Casino Royale
5 out of 5
My sister and I enjoyed the casino each day. It was fun, because we would win a little, lose a little.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The entertainment was okay.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
We only saw our room steward twice, but I'm rating service and staff 'excellent,' because everyone else was very present, accommodating, respectful, helpful, enthusiastic, and professional. (Neil and Omkar were wonderful!!!)
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The age of the Majesty can be seen in staterooms; however, I enjoyed the ease of a smaller ship. I have been on larger ships that required a map-in-hand at all times. The Majesty offered a sense of comfort in being able to wander the ship without getting lost.
Cabin / Stateroom

My sister and I loved the proximity to the elevators. She loved the proximity to the promenade deck to smoke. Although the cabin was cramped, it was adequate for storing our belongings. The bathroom is a little cramped, but again, adequate. One negative was the bed. It felt like I was laying on a bar that was right across my lower back. I had back pain the whole trip.
Ship tip
Do NOT go into the back of the shopping kiosks on the islands. If you want to buy something, make all transactions out in the open of everyone. At one stop, they tried to wander off with my sister's credit card (for a better connection). It wasn't until we followed them and grabbed it back that we ended the transaction. Another guest was offered cocaine for purchase in the back of a shop.
Our all-inclusive ziplining and beach excursion was both good and bad. My sister thoroughly enjoyed the unlimited ziplining; however, she was sent over a rope bridge that was extremely challenging for her to cross (at age 63). I opted for the lowest zipline (acrophobia) that was just a story above ground with a water landing. I was saddened to find out that this zipline was only a one-time use not unlimited like the higher ziplines.
The beach with open bar was delightful. We had chaises on the beach under shade-providing canopies. The staff was very accommodating to our needs. On the negative side... While away from our chaises, members of the cleaning crew took a couple of my sister's cigarettes without asking. Also, when shopping, the locals are very aggressive, making it difficult to look at their goods. If you showed an interest at all, they were on you and stayed with you until you were forced to be rude and walked away. My sister tried to make a purchase, but she was led to the back of the kiosk. Then, the worker walked off with her credit card. Very uncomfortable experience.
Our all-inclusive dolphin meet and ride was fabulous! The staff was very informative, helpful, and accommodating. They expressed a true understanding and commitment to the dolphins. They took the time with wary tourists to assure they were able to enjoy the experience even with limited contact (their choice). I cannot express the thrill when riding on the belly of a dolphin.
An unexpected surprise was an open bar and buffet after the dolphin encounter. I also appreciated that the transportation to and from was included. TIP: Do not put on any sunscreen, lotion, or perfume before dolphin encounter. They'll make you shower it off. LOCKERS: $15
The communication was a little confusing. The paperwork told us to go to the theater, so (while I grabbed a latte) my sister headed to the theater. When I attempted to head to the theater five minutes later, they had me go in the opposite direction. As you can imagine, I was concerned about separating from my sister. It took insisting on both our parts to meet up with one another. After that, disembarking was a breeze.
