Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We cruised on Majesty in 2016 and were underwhelmed by the food. We cruise last week in 2018 and were blown away by the difference. The entire kitchen and wait staff stepped up their game tremendously, and we couldn't possibly be more satisfied. Also, best Key Lime Pie that our table of all South Florida natives have ever enjoyed!!!

Pool Bar

5 out of 5

All of the bartenders and porters at the Pool Bar were friendly, quick, and personable. Special shout out to David and Angelito for excellent service.

Main Dining Room

5 out of 5

The food was SUPERB. Everything was cooked to perfection, we never had even the slightest complaint. Seasonings were perfect, portions were just right, and the service was exemplary. Lachana and Samir are the perfect wait team, and I hope we enjoy their company again on our next Majesty OTS cruise.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
As always with RCCL, a never-ending list of things to do.

Swimming Pools

5 out of 5

Clean as a whistle, perfect temperature, and I greatly appreciate the constant presence of the lifeguards. They didn't have to rescue anybody, but it felt good knowing that there was someone watching.

Jogging Track

5 out of 5

Just don't forget to turn the GPS off on your fitness tracker. My watch says I jogged 3 miles at under three minutes per mile. Whoops!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I can't say enough about how friendly and professional the staff always is on RCCL, but especially on this cruise. Everybody from the room attendant to the bar staff was just wonderful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Majesty OTS might be the oldest ship in the fleet, but she's got class. We never saw even the slightest hint of a mess, ship was immaculate.

Cabin / Stateroom

Ship tip

Stay on a mid- to upper-floor or get your stair-legs warmed up. We stayed on 3 and averaged 50-55 flights of stairs a day. Not surprisingly, despite the cuisine, we both LOST weight!

Ports of call

Tampa, Florida Did not visit port

Terminal could use an update but it was clean and mostly efficient.

HAVANA, CUBA

5 out of 5
Cuba is an amazing place full of amazing people. The reality vs. the fantasy of Cuba blew us away, but what really made the trip was the warmth and friendliness of the natives. We WILL cruise to Cuba gain, soon. The "Best of Havana" excursion was superb and worth every penny.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
We never left the Duty Free this time, just hopped off for a quick shop and back.
