Overall the ship kinda sucked. There is no other entertainment for adults only besides the casino. Cleanliness was a major concern. It smelled like sewage at times. Sink was clogged everyday. Pools were small. Water slide for toddlers only. 6 hot tubs but they were filled with little kids all the time. Would do Royal Caribbean again but not on the Majesty.

It was ok. Definitely an older ship. It’s small and only has 1 water slide just for little kids. Entertainment was good for the most part.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Food was good. The wait service was good. Very polite. Our group found it really amusing our waiter couldn’t pronounce my wife’s name, Janice. Not exactly hard to say. He called her everything but her name. Ma’am, miss, Mrs. it was funny to us.
Onboard Activities

We could never get in the hot tubs. They were always filled with kids. They need an adult only section on the ship.
Casino Royale

Casino was great. Spent a lot of time there. They had addictive games like the claw machine that had stacks of singles which equaled $100 which we won. People were lined up to play. Everyone was routing for each other. It was great!
Entertainment

The shows were good. Boogie wonderland sucked. We walked out. The others were great.

Ship Quality

This is where it was ruined for us. Our sink contantly was clogged. It wasn’t like we were doing anything crazy either. Just washing our hands and brushing our teeth. In the mornings the hallway smelled like sewage. We were on deck 4 right by the main Atrium. Several times I had to go to the main desk because the attendant didn’t leave shampoo or conditioner. At one point I saw an upside down ice cream cone inside the elevator.

The bed was hard as a rock. My god! The sink was constantly clogged! Everyday! The lighting was horrible! If they just upgraded the ship recently they should of upgraded the lights to led. I hear cruise ships want us to conserve energy, why don’t they upgrade to led? The room was tight. It was small. In the shower there was A LOT of soap build up on faucet. It needed to be cleaned. There wasn’t a lot of channel options on tv. We like to fall asleep with the tv on but when half the channels are in Spanish it really hinders your options.
Ship tip
This really isn’t a family ship. Thank god for the casino. The pool was small and the hot tubs were constantly full of kids. There is no adults only section on the ship. No water slides for adults. Entertainment was ok. Can’t complain much about the price. It cost us $800 for my wife and I. You get what you pay for though I guess. I would sail on Royal Caribbean again but I want to go on one of the newer ships with more things to do.
We rented a bungalow. Would definitely do this again!!! It was $125 for the day. Not per person! They served us lunch. Only complaint would be the drink of the day. It was supposed to be served in a pineapple. There was only one bar on the entire island doing it that way.
We did the stingray swim. It was incredible! The trainers were great! Experience was great! We watched the dolphins. Everything was awesome. Then we went into town. It was all down hill after that. The town was dirty and just felt dangerous. We’re were offered drugs multiple times. The thing that made us mad the most was the shops were closed by 5 pm. We were there until 8:30. Sure we could of went to senior frogs but why pay for food when you can eat for free on the ship?
A little research into the ship would've helped on alot of these problems!!! Always look at ships deck plans and venues before booking!! See if it has an adults only (Serenity deck) or water slides for all ages!! That little bit if effort could've changed alot😉
