Embarkation

Although 4 nights is a fair amount of time to be on a cruise. I would have liked to have spent more time on the islands that we stopped to explore. Aside from this the island, waters were breath taking, the weather was perfect, the cruise line's full itinerary of activities to do each day on the boat were great. Plenty to do. The cruise line's Starlight Restaurant had amazing food aaaaamazing. It is a time to be adventurous because the menu changes daily and you will not be able to go back and request that strawberry cheese cake that you were dying to try the night before. I actually felt quite spoiled. Drink, dining, and clean up service was very quick (note: The little towel animals that are put on you bed are really cute. I got an elephant). No complaints there.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

The cruise line's Starlight Restaurant was aaaaamazing. The Wind Jammer buffet was pretty decent as well and has a nice view.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Adult comedy night, watching Latin dancing, watching games shows, listening to jazz music, and participating in dance classes

Entertainment

Very energetic group.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff at Star Light were awesome; they were nice, very attentive, and welcoming. Great time of people. They always checked in to see how you were doing and you were never left waiting for anything for a long time. The last night of the cruise some of the bartenders were a little snappy at Schooners and a little bit at Starlight at breakfast on my last day of the cruise.

Ship Quality

Beautiful. There were a few maintanence issue in some of the rooms.

Cabin / Stateroom

Small as to be expected, but very clean. Cleaned daily. Maybe even twice a day. Cleaning staff is attentive and checks in without you having to chase them down, but they are not overly annoying.

Ship tip

I did not get motion sickness while on the boat, but after getting on the last day. it took me several days to get my land legs back. A couple of us felt like we were rocking a lot like we were still on the ship. We were on deck 2 (I think there are 8 total). I noticed that the higher up you go, like were the entertainment is. The more rocking you feel, so I would not recommend getting a room at the very top of the boat.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

The check in process was smooth and painless.

Nassau, Bahamas

It was beautiful the second you got off the boat, this feeling is heightened because you spent a great deal of time on the boat before getting there. Many people talk up Atlantis a lot (which I think is good for families), but if you want something serene, low-key, fun, and has good food, go to the War wick Resort. The food and bar service, and staff were eeeexellent (Conch Fritters are to die for). Hi Ray and Deonti! (some of the bartender friends)

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

5 out of 5
The water was absoluuuutly beautiful, the food was good, the coco loco is good especially mixed with alcohol, and and the swim up bar was great (it has little baby sharks that don't bite). Took a bit of convincing, but it was worth it
