Review summary

We arrived in Cape Canaveral the day before our Embarkation and enjoyed a nice dinner on the deck at Rusty's. Great food and live entertainment. Cruise day, we left our car at the hotel and rode the shuttle to the terminal. Boarding was a breeze. Went straight to the pool and stayed there til cruise time. had a great cruise, and returned to the shuttle which dropped us off at our car. Great Trip!

Embarkation

We arrived early on Embarkation day and I was very impressed by how quickly that went from the shuttle drop off to actually boarding the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Our Servers were great! Rohit and Kavorne were FANTASTIC and made every meal very enjoyable!!! Kudos to those two in particular. The staff even surprised us with an Anniversary song and dessert. Nice touch!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The pool area was very clean and had plenty of places to sit and enjoy the sun. I would suggest treating the pool deck area with some type of "Cool Deck" coating. Walking from your deck chair to the pool barefooted will scorch your feet.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
All three shows that we attended were very entertaining and appropriate for mixed company.

Children's Programs

We left the kids home for this trip.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
FANTASTIC STAFF. Our room attendant Luis was AWESOME. He really took great care of us. Again, Rohit and Kavorne were GREAT in the Dining Room. Many of the upper level staff members were great too, but I didn't get to know them as well.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The Majesty is a very nice ship. Well maintained and clean. If I had any problems, I would say that the onboard Air Conditioning System may need to be improved. Our room was comfortable, but I would prefer it a little cooler. The Windjammer Café was a little warm, but I understand the constant door opening and closing. Certainly did not cause me to not enjoy eating.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Our cabin was very nice. The only comment would be to boost the A/C a little bit. It was comfortable, but I would prefer it a little cooler. Still had a great stay!

Ship tip

Don't burn your feet on the pool deck. It gets REALLY hot up there.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
Very clean and spacious. Crowding was never an issue. Very helpful staff from the drop off to the boat!!!

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
We spent more time on the boat than we did in town.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

5 out of 5
FANTASTIC!!!! I'd rather spend two days here and forget about Nassau. Super relaxing and super clean! The Tender ride was not bad at all but the seats can get a little hot in the sun. Keep a towel with you to sit on and all will be good. The staff did not over load the boat so it was a very quick and comfortable 4 minute ride.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Not too bad... We ate breakfast while everyone else stood in line to leave the boat... Thankfully we didn't have to be anywhere to be so it was all good.

Do most hotels offer shuttle to the terminal? Do you mind sharing which hotel you used?
