Review summary

This is a old ship with dirty and stained windows and carpet.. We were very disappointed from the moment we arrived in our stateroom.  There was 5 inches of space on one side of the bed.  The other side had a built in with a shelf that made it difficult to get into the bed.  We had to crawl across the foot of the bed to sleep.  The safe had been removed from the stateroom.  We called and reported it to guest services.  We met our stateroom attendant Maria Vega and reported the missing safe.  She said that she would report it and have a safe placed in our stateroom that evening.  We had to carry our valuable things that evening. Following our 8:30 dinner, there was still no safe.  The next morning we went to guest services and again reported the missing safe.  We were told that maintenance would be placing the safe in our room.  We had to take our valuables ashore on our excursion.  We called guest services and was told there were wasn't a safe available.  Bad weather made it impossible for us to go ashore on Day 3.  The food service was not what we expected.  We would not cruise with Royal Caribbean Inc. again

We've sailed RC 3 times on different ships including the Majesty and always had a great time. Majesty is definitely old and tired. Try another, larger, newer ship before you count RC out.

Yeah the ship is old but I have been on it 4 times and have loved every minute of it. Try another RCL ship and then see the difference.

I would be upset too if I didn't have a safe. You need to have a secure place to put cash, passport, jewelry, etc and who wants to carry that stuff around onboard when you are supposed to be hands free and care free on board.
