Pleasant experience but little things could have increased review score.

Review summary
We went on a 3 day Bahama cruise. For myself and our daughters, it was our first cruise. We were impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the overall wonderful service provided. We have many wonderful memories we will treasure forever, including the many laughs provided by dining staff, the dolphin encounter at Blue Lagoon, and of course the beautiful sea. We laughed so hard at the comedy show, we were all crying, and enjoyed company and fun at karaoke. All of this was wonderful. Areas of improvement were room service...we ordered a birthday cake for our daughter and chocolate covered strawberries another day for another daughter, both arrived well past delivery time, making it difficult to fully enjoy activities when we couldn't count on the time we had to be back to our state room for the delivery. In addition, activities were theme based of which we knew nothing about until on the cruise. This is a little late if you want us to participate. The activities were limited onboard and many catered to late night, rather than having a variety of times available for each activity. Due to sea conditions, we missed our first port and there were not a variety of activities offered. We understand the safety to be of utmost concern, however we were celebrating a birthday that day and there were little to do. They did increase activities but they weren't necessarily something that all would have enjoyed. Maybe activities like the karaoke or an extra show could be possible when these unforeseen times happen, not just partying and dancing. Not everyone drinks alcohol on or off a cruise.

Ship tip
Get to Karaoke early because when they get enough people they don't take anymore.
