Review summary

We went on a 3 day Bahama cruise. For myself and our daughters, it was our first cruise. We were impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the overall wonderful service provided. We have many wonderful memories we will treasure forever, including the many laughs provided by dining staff, the dolphin encounter at Blue Lagoon, and of course the beautiful sea. We laughed so hard at the comedy show, we were all crying, and enjoyed company and fun at karaoke. All of this was wonderful. Areas of improvement were room service...we ordered a birthday cake for our daughter and chocolate covered strawberries another day for another daughter, both arrived well past delivery time, making it difficult to fully enjoy activities when we couldn't count on the time we had to be back to our state room for the delivery. In addition, activities were theme based of which we knew nothing about until on the cruise. This is a little late if you want us to participate. The activities were limited onboard and many catered to late night, rather than having a variety of times available for each activity. Due to sea conditions, we missed our first port and there were not a variety of activities offered. We understand the safety to be of utmost concern, however we were celebrating a birthday that day and there were little to do. They did increase activities but they weren't necessarily something that all would have enjoyed. Maybe activities like the karaoke or an extra show could be possible when these unforeseen times happen, not just partying and dancing. Not everyone drinks alcohol on or off a cruise.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
A variety of food choices would be good, particularly in Windjammer and desert options at dinner. Our wait staff in the dining room were exceptional, they made every night an enjoyable experience as was the wait staff in Johnny Rockets who went above and beyond to make our daughter's birthday memorable.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
There was not a wide enough variety and the time offered was very late. It would be nice to have several choices in time to attend rather than late night. Also theme based nights would be nice to know before cruise to plan ahead in wardrobe, also knowing available activities before cruise could help plan out our days.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Very small and not easy to navigate when you had to go through the casino to get to the theater and through a hallway of rooms to get to the lounge vs. the bigger ships that everything is from the outside.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Extremely small!!! The way it is laid out we were on top of each other the whole time. People were constantly bumping their heads on the beds. The upper bunks were not made when we arrived even though they knew it was reserved for 4. There was no room for luggage at all which made it very difficult. The bathroom had room to turn around and that was all. We had to get the shower curtain replaced upon arrival as it was molded.

Ship tip

Get to Karaoke early because when they get enough people they don't take anymore.

Dolphin Encounter at Blue Lagoon was fun and they had things to see there. The sea was beautiful.
