We had a great trip!

Sail Date: October 13, 2006

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Oceanview

We were very pleased with the ship and the staff. All were friendly and helpful. We understand that the ship will be refurbished in January and it did look dated but clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the dinners but were not impressed with the sit down breakfasts. The lunch on their private island Coco Cay left a lot to be desired.

Overall we really enjoyed our trip and would try Royal Carribean again.

Pros: Dinners were excellent, service was excellent

Cons: More info about the ship before we got on would have been helpful

Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
It was a nice place to sit around and relax. The kayaking was more strenuous than we expected and we were sore for 2 days. We didn't try the jet ski but heard it was great. Food was pretty bad.
Don't Miss: none

Nassau, Bahamas
We did the Sea and See tour, which included a trip on a semi-submersible which was great and then continued with a bus tour of the island historical spots. The bus tour was very informative. We wished we could have done another excursion in the afternoon, but none were available.
Don't Miss: We really enjoyed the semi-submersible Explorer.
