Review summary

Loved the ship and the ports. I would have taken an excursion at every port, but had been on this itinerary before.

Ship experiences

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We loved our head waiter, Michel Buenavista and our room steward, Mario. Great service everywhere

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Beautiful ship with gorgeous decor. Very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
We had been upgraded to a mini-suite, which was lovely, but the view below was some type of storage tanks and the balcony was very small. Also there was a lot of engine noise and vibration. I would not choose a cabin in the aft area of this ship.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
So easy! I hate LAX and the San Pedro cruise port is full of shipping containers, but disembarkation was quite efficient. Customs clearance is done through a quick facial recognition. Didn’t even have to show passport!

Growing up in the area I realize that both ports Long Beach and San Pedro are not very exciting but there are 2 really nice Hilton properties adjacent to both ports. Also a short cab or Uber ride you're out of the port area into Long Beach and San Pedro.
