Everything was going great until we realized my wife’s Cartier watch that we left out of the safe for a short time was missing. Please everyone always lock your valuables anytime you are not in your room..

As others stated, don't ever bring valuables while traveling. If you do try to have some way to lock them up other than the ships or hotel safes that anyone and everyone has access to. I bring my own safe when I travel with a good padlock.

So sorry to see this… true doors are left open when cleaning. Not necessarily the cabin steward.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss. Not everyone is perfect in this world. We have to be extra careful every time when we go out. Keeping any valuable items open to the public is not always safe. It will tempt even the good people to make mistakes.

Definitely not the desired ending of a cruise. What was the result of the investigation, if any? Those things are usually investigated.
