Review summary

My family had a wonderful vacation from start to finish. It was our first cruise and we were very happy with it. We would definitely cruise on the Liberty of the Seas again. And most definitely with Royal Caribbean again.

Embarkation

As a first time cruiser it couldn't have been any easier to navigate the terminal. Any small line moved quickly and there were plenty of people around to ask questions if needed. Everyone was polite and courteous.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

We ate in the Windjammer for breakfast and lunch. We enjoyed the variety of food very much. My husband asked for peanut butter for my daughter 's waffles, which they were able to accommodate which was super nice and they even had some out for everyone the next day. I found that amazing. Julie and Smy in the main dining room (3rd floor) were an absolute delight in every way possible. From food selections to accommodating my picky 11 yr old. I simply can't praise them enough. The food was delicious every night and had no need to try any of the specialty restaurants.

Onboard Activities

The pools, water slides and hot tubs were a blast. Had fun with all of them. We didn't know you needed long pants for ice skating. So unfortunately we couldn't try it.

Entertainment

The musicians were all very talented, we enjoyed finding one nightly and enjoyed a drink listening to them.

Children's Programs

My 11 year old enjoyed the kids club very much. She looked forward to hanging out with kids her age and playing the game every night. Staff was super nice and friendly.

Service and Staff

Maya our stateroom attendant was outstanding. Our stateroom was spotless every day. The towel animals were adorable. All of us loved them. She was very personal, a very hard worker. She had wonderful tips about the ship and stuff to do. I would go as far as to say her talents would be better served in a position more suited to customer service and relations. She was that amazing.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship's layout was great. Common areas were always spotless. Staff was always cleaning up or picking up discarded drink glasses or plates. The pool area was constantly being squeezed down so guests wouldn't slip on wet spots.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our aft facing balcony was wonderful. My daughter loved the pull down bed from the ceiling. Our balcony was huge. It fit two loungers, two chairs and two tables.

Ship tip

Enjoy every moment. It was a beautiful ship, beautiful vacation and the staff was amazing. Truly wanting to see the guests happy.

We self carried our luggage and it couldn't have been any easier! No lines, very obvious of where to go.

Beautiful port, beach transfer went smoothly. Had a lovely time at the beach with my family. Cute fun shops walking distance from the port with all sorts of vacation souvenirs!
