Review summary

I thought this was a nice cruise. I’ve been on several cruises before. This was a 3 day cruise and I wouldn’t go such a short cruise again. It’s too short. Event the waiter said it was too short and I didn’t bring the subject up. :) The bed was not comfortable and I ended up sleeping on the couch otherwise I wouldn’t have been in a lot of pain. I would go on Royal Caribbean again but I would have to make sure the bed wasn’t like sleeping on a rock. :)

I picked a time to arrive at 2:30pm and didn’t board till 4pm. I think this was because the ship repositioned from Texas to Florida. I wouldn’t take a reposition cruise again.

I thought the food was good. I ordered the lopster in the main dining room. It was an extra charge of $30 and well worth it. I also went to Johnny Rocket’s. It was a great atmosphere and food.

The show Saturday Night Fever was great. I saw Saturday Night Fever on broadway in NYC many years ago and watching the show this time brought back great memories.

The cabin steward was friendly and the cabin was always clean. There was a cute towel animal that was left in the bed one evening.

Ship tip

I would recommend placing a bid on Royal Up. I originally had an inside cabin and was able to get a panoramic ocean view on the 12 floor by placing a bid on Royal Up.

I parked my car on terminal 18 and then came back to terminal 26. It took over an hour and half to get back to my car. I assume this is unusual to not arrive back at the same terminal.
