Review summary

My last cruise was at 45 percent capacity and this one was almost at maximum capacity. Once I got past dealing with lines and noise, I really enjoyed the cruise.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Dinner at all three specialty restaurants was fantastic. Great service and incredible food! Really enjoyed room service on my balcony, too. Lunch at Windjammer was a challenge with so many people. Food there was pretty good.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
It’s hard to rate because I spent most of the time relaxing. There were many activities available.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Saturday Night Fever was okay. The aerialist performance was awesome. El Gaucho was amazing. The ice show was great. I also enjoyed the Disco Party.

Children's Programs

No kids.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Cedrick, my stateroom attendant was great. I told him I liked towel animals and had a new one each time I returned to my super clean cabin. All servers at each of the specialty restaurants were tremendous. Staff & officers I met throughout the ship were friendly and always smiling. Upsell after an adequate massage was expected but being rudely rushed out after saying no thanks was unprofessional. Since this service is subcontracted I did not take a star off.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Four stars only due to obvious age of ship. Nonetheless, Liberty is a beautiful ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

The bed was quite comfortable. I don’t understand why so many people complain. The balcony was wonderful although I was unable to watch much of the wake (aft cabin) since we were in port each day and sailed after dark. I had a huge problem opening the balcony door. It must weigh twice what I weigh. The cabin attendant had to open it for me & had me keep the deadbolt on so it never fully closed. Even with that my shoulder and hip are still sore from constantly trying to push the door open.

Ship tip

You’re on a cruise- relax & enjoy!

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
The beaches are beautiful. I live in South Florida and we have nothing that can compare.

Disembarkation

Again, having The Key made it a breeze (pun intended).

Appreciate your feedback. For passengers, the lower occupancy was wonderful. But I suppose that filled to capacity, is what keeps the rates from skyrocketing. Glad you enjoyed your cruise.
