Review summary

We had a great time on Liberty of the Seas. The scheduled ports were changed due to Hurricane Ian. We were to have stopped in Cozumel, Grand Cayman and finally in Falmouth. After waiting out the storm via a slow Gulf crossing, we were only able to make it to Costa Maya and back to Cozumel. The staff and crew made up for the disappointment in our missing ports by providing excellent service and quality.

Embarkation

Embarkation was very easy, fast and smooth. No issues.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The Liberty of the Seas always has good food offerings, clean and pleasant venues and exceptional service.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Love the FlowRider! This is one of the main reasons we are repeat RCCL passengers. The other activities like rock-climbing, mini golf were also enjoyable.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Quality of the performances are always top tier. However, we've been on this ship several times and the same shows become a bit stale after seeing them multiple times.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service is A+ and has been that way each time we've been on this ship. Great people doing excellent service!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship is easy to navigate and is always kept clean and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was nice. It was located in a fairly quite and convenient location. Balcony was very enjoyable during the shady parts of the day.

Ship tip

Try something new, climb the rock wall, boogie board on the FlowRider, ect. There are a lot of fun activities. Take advantage.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Nice water excursions available. Port has plenty of shopping and is a convenient terminus for excursions.

George Town, Grand Cayman Did not visit port

Hurricane Ian halted tender operations and we didn't visit Grand Cayman. Disappointed at the turn of events as this is one of our favorite ports.

Falmouth, Jamaica Did not visit port

Hurricane Ian again caused us to miss this port.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We opted to do self-assist and walked off. The process was convenient, quick and problem free. Highly recommend this option for those with little luggage and are physically able.
