Review summary

We had a great time for celebrating our 40th anniversary and my wife's birthday. We would definitely cruise on Royal Caribbean again.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkment went smoothly with few delays. We did complete as much as possible with the personal info and health questionnaire.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate dinner each night in the main dining room using the "my time" dining. Note: Even though it's "my time" it's best to make reservations for each night. We did 7 pm. Lobster night was very busy and folks who didn't make a reservation had to wait.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We mainly hung out at the Solarium Pool area - no kids, no loud music - during the day. In the evening after dinner we enjoyed the various bars and entertainment venues. We spent a lot of evening time in the piano bar. The pianist was great.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the stage shows.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Waiters and room steward were very friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
We liked the layout - the promenade had late night snacks and daytime snacks if we wanted something quick. It always takes a few days to figure out where everything is on a ship. The app was very helpful.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The layout was different that other ships we've been on. The sofa was near the door and the bed near the balcony. This arrangement worked better than we expected.

Ship tip

If you use "my time", make a reservation at a time that works for you.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Dismemberment went smoothly. They staggered the procedure for getting off the ship. Maybe, one thing that worked well is that the ship was only half full, so venues, pools, and restaurants were not crowded.
