We had the most relaxing time. Can’t wait to do it again.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We arrived to the port, dropped off our luggage at 10:30, drove over to the parking area and waited in the Tahoe until 11:15, just visiting and playing on our phones. When it was time we headed over to the bus to take us to the terminal. Lines were short but getting thru the covid interrogation area took a bit. X-ray area was quick, then up the escalator to check in. We had to sit in a waiting area for approximately 30 minutes before boarding and, areas were called to board.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
All the meals we had in the main dining room were great, appetizers, entree and dessert. The Windjammer food was good too. We didn’t feel the need to use any of the Speciality dining options but, we did enjoy Johnny Rocket’s twice. Oh! Serento pizza! Yep YUM! The Sprinkles Ice cream was also a hit.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We really didn’t go to any of the on board activities.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The ice show was fantastic, we enjoyed the Saturday Night Fever show, I didn’t really enjoy the show that changed songs to make them sound like Big Band.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All of our staff was wonderful. Our room attendant was Lorane. She was so fun and helpful.
Our Main Dining waiters were Sushil and Viraj. They both greeted us with smiles even before we reached our table. We did have a little trouble understanding Sushil but figured out what he was saying at times. Viraj always had our iced tea served just after we were seated. We only told him on day one that we wanted tea. 😁
Ship Quality

We love the Freedom class ships.

Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Being used to a suite, we did feel a little tight. However, this was a freeish cruise, brought to us by Casino Royale offers.
Anyway, the room was great, bed was comfortable, bathroom was enough, balcony was an extended one so we had chairs and loungers along with 2 tables. We were on the back of the ship, we LOVE those rooms. We could hear the water movement from the propellers, very relaxing, sucked the life out of us daily, sometimes twice! LOLOL!🤣🤣🤣
Ship tip
Do everything, do nothing, dress formal, dress casual. It’s your vacation, do what YOU want. Happy sailing!
We ordered extra food, muffins, on our second to last breakfast room service so that we had no need to go to the Windjammer for breakfast. We got ready and just waited in our room for our time to debark, 7:30. The tv channel was up to date on the debark times, debark was also announced over the ship and elevators were “somewhat” easy to catch. We scanned our card getting off the ship, walked the long zig zag to the ground floor and when going thru Customs, we just had to look at an iPad for facial recognition. We never had to stop our stride. We walked right over to the buses and, back to our vehicle we went. bac
