It was so nice to get back to cruising we just hated having to get off the ship
Embarkation
5 out of 5
New protocols made it a bit slower we had to show our passport, vaccination cards and test results 3 different times going in but with specific times it did go smoothly
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
As usual Royals food was outstanding just a bit different as there was always someone to serve you in the windjammer, the main dining room was normal once you were seated
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Nothing different on liberty as for activity, did watch the pros really work with people on the flowrider
Entertainment
5 out of 5
This cruise we had some really great comedians along with a juggler, and some wonderful musicians the ice show seemed a little better and Saturday night fever was good for only 5 weeks rehearsals their dancing was spectacular in my opinion
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
It appears as though they have a whole new crew onboard those who lacked experience made up for it in enthusiasm they really went above and beyond to make you feel great to be there
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
This ship has been around for awhile but they were constantly cleaning and the new doors going out to the pool were a nice improvement
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Good clean cabin well taken care of and the cute little towel characters are always a joy
Disembarkation
5 out of 5
Waiting to be called from your room and not crammed into a group area was nice but going through the normal passport checking was so quick with facial recognition instead of the long lines I just loved that change
We leave Sunday, and can you tell me if they had coke products, just went on Carnival and they only had pepsi🤮…would like to know so we can bring it if needed. Thanks for the great review also!
As bad as a pandemic is, there have been some positives: lower ship capacity, improved muster drill process, great cruise deals (at least for the remainder of 2021). Enjoy it while it lasts 😉
