This is my fifth cruise on the Liberty. The past cruises were terrific. The is cruise was not up to past RCL standards.

Review summary

I have been on the Liberty five times and this cruise was not up to Royal Caribbean standards. The food was fine, especially the Chops Grill. The breakfast in the Rembrandt was disorganized and the service was poor. The Diamond Club was terribly overcrowded. The disembarkation in Galveston was a disaster. It was disorganized and chaotic. It was terribly stressful and a poor experience to end a cruise. This process needs major improvement.

The Liberty needs some renovation. It is not up to RCL standards. Ex...balcony rails needed maintenance. Finish was warn and rough. Plexiglass was dirty

Wow, ours experience completely different! We love Liberty of the Sea, we didn’t do Chop Grill, nor Remendt, we ate Windjammer every morning for breakfast and lunch, ate at Main Dining Room for dinner. Our services with Dinning room and Windjammer was well expected. Also with disembarkation, we went to service desk n ask to first first thing in the morning so we, total of 5 rooms was able to get group B tickets to leave at 8am, but we were out of the ship well be before 8am.

I have to say disembarking was slow when we cruised her but I do not fault ship but rather the terminal that has to deal with its approx 4000 passangers getting off. The bigger the ship the bigger the problem.
