Review summary

We had a fantastic time. It was my co workers and my daughter that went. I can't wait to do it again.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation took about 10 min to get through the passport/birth certificate/security line. And another 15 min to get through the line where you get the seapass.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

The food in the MDR was good. I remember going on 2 years ago and the food was awesome. I really liked the Windjammer for breakfast and lunch. Loved that there were so many different flavors. Ate at Chops for lunch. I ordered a burger but I should've ordered the steak. Will def do that the next time around.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Soooo much to do. We mostly explored the ship, did a lot of trivia and chillaxed in the hot tub. My friends went to the fitness center in the morning to work out.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
I saw the Welcome on the Liberty and a family comedy show. One of my friends saw almost all the shows. And he thought they were all great. We did the Quest game which was hilarious!! Also went to the club a couple of times. I started a Soul Train line one night haha. We also hung out at the karaoke bar and the Boleros bar and watched the latin band. Lizbeth the singer was awesome. She has a great voice and was able to get the crowd up and going.

Children's Programs

Daughter did not want to participate.

Service and Staff

I think i only saw my room attendant once..maybe twice. I don't even know his name. My daughter (13yr old) met him a few times and said he was nice. Our waiter and asst. waiter Evan and Yu were absolutely the best!! They were so attentive. This may not a big deal but they had a fruit dish as an appetizer. My daughter didn't like the kiwi or other fruit but just wanted strawberries. So guess what she got every night for her fruit appetizer? A bowl of strawberries!! Evan even gave us a postcard from his country( The Philippines) on the last night. Lizbeth I forgot her bands name but they were the Latin band. She was great and made sure to speak to everybody that was there. The bartendars Wainwright, Lancelot and Sue were great too.

The room was comfortable for 3 people. The balcony was huge. Wish they would update the shower.

Ship tip

Just have FUN. We went with a group of people but we did our own thing but still found a way to meet up.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas Did not visit port

We drove down the same day of sail. So we parked and jumped on the ship.

Cozumel, Mexico

We had booked an awesome excursion but Royal cancelled because not enough people signed up for it. They told us that night. so we ended up just walking around Cozumel and ended up at a beach resort right next to the port.

George Town, Grand Cayman

I loved this port. We didn't have any excursions planned. we just explored the GC. We took a public bus and went to Hell. We asked the bus driver where was his fave place to eat. He showed us a "hole in the wall" which was down the street from Hell and boyyyyy the food was lip smacking good. Then we took a bus again and went the the beach. (7 mile)

Falmouth, Jamaica

We did a 3rd party excursion(Rose Hall great house and Dr Caves beach plus shopping). I really liked the port. It was beautiful. After we got out a couple miles from outside the port it was great.

Disembarkation

We let Royal take our suitcases off. We chilled in the lounge. Walked the ship until they called our number. We Didn't have long to wait.
