It was an ok trip but not worth the money. The bed was terrible, Cozumel and The Cayman Islands were a bust. The dining room staff Ting Ting and Cameron, the dining room food, our room steward Irvin, and Jamaica were the only good parts.

It was walking on a ship.

Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The dining room was great and the staff Ting Ting and Cameron were wonderful. The buffet was like Golden Corral and the Asian foods were terrible. We ate mostly in the dining room so I'm giving it 5 stars
Onboard Activities

We liked the ice capades. The man who had the children on stage was good. I didn't like the fact that everything i wanted to do on sea days cost money. Sea days were pretty boring. I liked some of the dancing on deck 11 but the extremely loud pounding music was a real headache. We couldn't even have a conversation. I didn't care for the pervert who did dirty dancing with children in the audience we left. I don't consider talking dirty and doing dirty dancing talent. That doesn't take a lot of creativity or intelligence. The place where they had name that 70's song was full and we got there early. So it was either listen to someone talk dirty or banging music. Very poor.

Cameron and Ting Tong in the dining room were outstanding and so was our room steward Irvin.

I didn't like having to go through the stinky casino.
Cabin / Stateroom

It was clean enough but extremely small. The bed was like sleeping on a giant brick.
Ship tip
Bring some board games, books, cards, your own entertainment for sea days. Only go to the evening entertainment with children if you want them to get a crash course in sex education. There wasn't a variety of things to do in the evening other than watching and listening to a bunch of perverts.
The ferry was late picking us up so we missed half our tour. We know all about the Cayman government (Nobody cares about that.) that we learned from the guide. Going to Hell was a "so what" trip. We had to stop at a hole in the wall and get meat pies for lunch (They were good.) and we had to eat it in the van because we were behind schedule. The chickens were the most interesting thing on the tour.
The tour was great. The tour guide (pregnant lady) and driver John were excellent. The food was good but expensive. The beach was great. The gift shop that we were taken to was way over priced. My cousin got over charged. The people of Jamaica were wonderful. I didn't care for people asking people in our group if they wanted drugs.
We carried our own luggage off the ship. Big mistake. We had to haul 4 suit cases across the ship and get on an elevator with other people who had just as much if not more luggage than us.
I agree totally with LT Cruiser. Sure there are good days and bad, but it seems glada had all bad days, which is impossible, so yes, kellisyk, maybe cruising isnt for some people. I enjoy cruising, but there are some things that just didn't work out well, but that doesnt stop me from cruising and I'm not only gonna give my negative opinions.
A cruise is what you make of it. Interesting that the dirty public beach was your "best" part of the cruise. That excursion was tbe worst o e we have EVER done! And John's driving scared the crap out of us! Sorry you didn't enjoy your cruise.
Seems like cruising may not be for you, We love cruising and Royal Caribbean and have always enjoyed Grand Cayman and Cozumel, but do a snorkeling and beach day.
