Review summary

All was great except for the people in 6242 who smoked on their balcony every day. I asked them to stop 2 days in a row (my wife has health problems with this) before finally going to guest services about the problem. They insisted they would put a stop to it. Nope. The jerks in that room realized nothing would be done, so they were just openly smoking and throwing the butts over the rail. Royal Caribbean needs to find a way to address this. Since we weren't out there THAT much, we did have a good time, but.......

Entertainment

Time to move on from Saturday Night Fever. Some of the singers (especially the male singers) tend to be out of tune...…..not a very enjoyable show. This is MY experience only.

Service and Staff

Steward, Waiter, and Assistant Waiter were top notch.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Had water seeping into the room from the pipes in between staterooms. This happened on the second to last night of the cruise. It wasn't sopping wet, just damp. We had to put up with a dehumidifier in the room for most of our last day. REALLY loud. We spent most of the day out anyway, but by 5:30 I had to ask our steward to have it removed even though there were still signs of dampness. Even with that, I would have a hard time going lower than 4 stars.

Ship tip

Non smoking doesn't necessarily mean non smoking. They don't enforce the policy which can make for a somewhat uncomfortable experience.

Sorry that happened...I’m a smoker and the policy states no smoking in rooms or on balconies. I would definitely contact Royal Caribbean main office and lodge a complaint.

We were on Liberty last February. Neighbors were smoking. My husband called guest service and security was knocking on their door within a few minutes. Caught them in the act. Security then came and spoke with my husband and assured us they would comply to policy or higher action would be taken. We did not smell smoke after that. Sorry you had to experience that.

I am sure if you would of complained enough to ship to it would of stopped. Squeeky wheel gets greased.

I'm sorry to hear that. I sail in one week myself. If we have that problem I'm going immediately to guest services until it's not a problem. Some people are so tacky and low class on ships. Fire is the biggest fear on a ship and needs to be taken seriously.

Sorry to hear that...people should be more respectful to others considering you're sharing the same space.
