Review summary

RC has made some changes that I wish they had not. This is my 5th RC cruise and not once have they placed baskets of bread on the table. Most of it went in the trash - ask us what type of bread we would like and place it on the B&B plate like before. Also, the two pools were disgusting by day 6. The water turned so cloudy I could not see anything from my knees down. NASTY!!! Liberty is also starting to look a little tired, and the internet is terribly slow on this ship - not near as fast as Allure and newer ships, but you still costs the same. Lunch in the Windjammer is the same every single day.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas Did not visit port

Cozumel, Mexico

I'm really over Cozumel. I don't see why RC has to visit Cozumel on every trip out of Galveston - give us some other options out of Texas. Cozumel is really dirty and the vendors are really aggressive.

Disembarkation

RC has disembarkation down to a science. I cannot believe how fast I walked off the ship, grabbed my bags, and walked through US Customs.

PanamaDee I haven’t been able to find this information anywhere. Can you tell me where you have seen this? Thanks much!

Well hopefully they will replace it with an Oasis class ship

We sailed Transatlantic on Liberty in 2011 and it was excellent all around. But yeah, she’s probably due for those updates. As for internet service at sea, it’s never that good as it is totally weather and satellite dependent. I agree about the bread, too.

Liberty of the Seas is scheduled for updates in March or April. 🛳😎

I agree with the waste of bread. Honestly I said no to bread at dinner bc I wanted one piece and didn’t want the rest to go to waste.
