Review summary

My husband is now hooked on cruising! We booked our next one while on the ship for a steal of a price.

Embarkation

Got there at 10:15 am and was on the ship by 10:45 am!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Windjammer Marketplace

5 out of 5

The Windjammer is crowded if you go at peak times (8am, 12pm, 6pm).

Onboard Activities

Photo Gallery and Shop

Not the best set-up right next to the smokey casino, but you really don't spend much time here. Be warned! Photos on the ship are PRICEY!!!

Entertainment

Promenade

3 out of 5

Moving around is easy until they have a sale of some sort and everyone is crowded in one location right in the center of the ship. It's a good thing there's more than one way to get to the other side.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I'm sure the ship has seen better days, but that didn't affect our trip at all. It shows it's age in some places.

Cabin / Stateroom

Ship tip

Go to the pool deck the first day and check out 2 pool towels to take back to your room. Use these in your bathroom instead of the smaller towels. Return them and get more when you need fresh ones.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

Very pushy, but "no thank you" is all you have to say. Don't ask the people outside where a certain place is. They will just show you to their shop and try to get you to buy what they have instead.

George Town, Grand Cayman

The tender was fun and we just shopped in port.

Falmouth, Jamaica

The people are SOO friendly!

$200/ person? Or $200 total?

Kandamonk    6 years ago

Yep. We got $150 obc for an inside stateroom and only $200 down payment.

Welcome to the addiction :-)

Sometimes booking on board nets you a lower down payment and maybe some obc.

We wondered if it is better to book while on ship.
