Overall we enjoyed our cruise ? It was a badly needed break from the daily challenges after my wife had crushed her Tibial Plateau. The rain did not slow us down which only occurred half day in Grand Cayman and on day at see!
Embarkation
3 out of 5
My wife needed a wheelchair which was provided for by RC. Going through security and check-in was a breeze. But then we were placed in a dedicated area for people with handicaps and were the very last ones to board. NOT COOL! I thought they should be the very first on!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Food at buffet was okay. Dessert choice was so so. Like to see a wider variety. Dining room was great.
Great waitstaff and assistant!
Onboard Activities

We relaxed at the solarium pool which was peaceful.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Went to 4 entertainment shows. Ice skating was superb , we saw it twice!. "Saturday night live" was very busy and mediocre.
Mark from the letterman was great.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Most waiters including our cabin Stewart were great. Very accommodating. There were a couple of waitstaff acting like they really did not want to be there. In general it was a positive experience.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Everything was great . Beautiful decor. State of the art picture gallery. Gorgeous dining room
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
The stateroom was nice with the exception of the couch in the stateroom . It looked at first as if the fabric was defected. After it had bothered me for three day I decided to take a washcloth and some soap and when it came off I realized it was dried up semen . I was not happy! The sheer curtain in the window was nearly torn in half and should have been replaced. There was nothing in the fridge and I like at least a few bottles of water. I had to go the the bar, stand in line for 15 minutes and order water which was offered in two quantities. 12 liters or 24 liters. We ended up leaving 6 liters behind!
Ship tip
Nice ship overall . We had no engine noise and the cabin was very peaceful and in a great location .convenient to all the areas. However I have been on WOW Ships before!
Jewel Paradise was a very nice resort. We had a total of 6 hours in this port. Not realizing that the resort was one hour drive one way. We barely spent 3 1/2 - 4 hours at the resort which cost us $200. The food buffet was great and the resort beautiful. Going from the nice beach into the water we had to be careful for the large rocks on the bottom. Me wife had broken her leg in March and was still on the mend, so caution was essential.
