Review summary

This was our third Royal Caribbean cruise and it has been almost 10 years since our last one.  One thing I remember about our last cruise was the wonderful food.  I will remember this cruise because of the food as well, but for it being a huge disappointment.  The food was not good at all and usually cold or barely warm.  They want everyone to go to their specialty restaurants and spend more money, as if your not spending enough on drinks or internet or pictures or every other little thing their selling.  Our balcony cabin was smaller and we might as well have taken our vacation at the mall at Christmas time.  With 4200 people on board it was hard enough to get around the ship but loading the promenade deck with jewelry, watches and anything else they could peddle and having a sale on it all the time just made it worse.  I did enjoy the flowrider, tube rides and climbing wall but the food and constant sales hype really put a damper on our vacation.  I will cruise again but I don't think it will be with Royal Caribbean.

Service and Staff

Cabin steward and waiter were very courteous and helpful

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
Too big with too many passengers. Rooms are smaller

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
Cabin was okay but smaller than previous balcony cabins. Kept awake several nights by wind whistling through the balcony door.

Ship tip

Get your money back if you can. If too late, then enjoy yourself and drink a lot of booze and maybe you won't notice how bad the food is and that the ship is crowded with rude people.

you pay what you get. if you want better service and food then go on the very expensive cruises that cost you a arm and a leg.

on our last rcl cruise, we complained to our waiter about the food and she told us that it is not freshly made as in the past...it comes in precooked in plastic bags...no wonder it tastes so bad...

I will agree with you on them trying to sell everything if I wanted a cheap watch I could buy it off Amazon.
