Review summary

I slipped in the atrium area (on my first day)  because of standing water. I went to see medical and found out I dislocated my elbow. Although times I had to wait awhile, the staff Orthopedic Dr. was great!! Everything I like to do is water related, Therefore this put a damper on my cruise and I actually couldn't wait to get off the ship. We have saved for years to take this cruise. I asked if there was anyway we could be reimbursed for future cruise and they offered us 15%. So I will not be returning to this cruise line again.

travel insurance will cover medical expenses, but if you didn't have to return home due to injuries, they won't cover cost of another cruise either....it's all under what's called trip interruption

why should they reimburse you? if you hit a deer with your car would you demand the deer pay for damages?

All ways travel with insurance , a medical evacuation can set you back 20k

anyone can spill water and ignore it and not ask crew to clean up. everyone is sue/attorney happy.

that's what travel insurance is for. I'm sorry u got hurt but accidents happen . royal Caribbean can't prevent everything or be responsible for all accidents

You should have gotten a lawyer. I bet they would have offered more than 15% then. Standing water ruined your cruise. You should be compensated.

Glad we got travel insurance

I think you should take the 15% and try again though! None of the others would likely do better. But hey, I see where your coming from too.

Sorry to hear. Hope you feel better soon.
