Review summary

Michael Hix and The Holla was my favorite part and I would recommend it to others. No other comments available. We had a terrific dining experience. The negative part lies in the hidden daily gratuity charges.

I like pre-paying my gratuities if you do that then there's nothing to worry about coming as a surprise at the end of the cruise, which even that shouldn't be a surprise when they already gave you the option to pay it when booking. Also just so you know you can review your account on the TV in the stateroom and will show your gratuities going in also if you don't pre-pay.

I always gave extra to my bar waiters and got treated royally!

We prepay the gratuities when we book, then no worries and we give a little extra if we feel like it to our room steward, wait staff, etc

There are no hidden gratuities. They are explained on the cruise website. There is a recommended daily gratuity (tip) that is automatically applied to your account. You are welcome to change the amounts to what you feel is appropriate before you settle your onboard account. You'll get a copy the day before so you have time to look over it. Gratuities are automatically added to drinks and are non-negotiable, as far as I know.

Can you explain a little more on gratuities a little??? I'm a new cruiser and prepaid mine so I'm curious.
