Review summary
Overall the cruise was about average. The worst part was with the cruise excursion staff in organizing the excursions departure from the boat. Royal Caribbean was trying a new method and really messed up. As a result there was much confusion between the staff as and we missed our excursion due to getting off the boat 2 minutes after the boat left for the excursion. The staff did not even apologize and even started to argue that it was our fault, when their staff wasn't even on the same sheet of music in the staging area. The entertainment was average compared to Disney's shows. The comedian was good. The food was hit or miss each night in the main dining area. The breakfast in the dining room was pretty good and the buffet in the windjammer was pretty good with a lot of variety for breakfast and lunch., although my kids were looking forward to donuts as they got on the Disney cruise and they really only had 1 type of donut and it tasted a week old, but that was ok, as it forced more healthy choices. The spa was pretty good and the yoga class was great as we are new to yoga. They had pizza for free on the promenade deck and was open late. The shops were geared to jewelry, watches and perfume, which we were not interested in. Other cruise ships shopping like Disney and even Carnival shops were better. On the last day there was a stampede for RC Tshirts and it was a mess. It was not organized very well and very hectic. There were even a few people that almost got in fight over the shirts which were 2 for $20. Obviously, RC focus' on the revenue centers of the shops as the Cruise Director even referred to them on the first day as the "Revenue Center" on Deck 5, Don't buy the Invicta watches, the same watches are cheaper on Evine.com even though RC says they are marked down 75%, they are still way over priced. Probably the same for the other brands, but I don't have a comparison to verify.

Ship tip
Make sure you estimate your beverage consumption before purchasing one of the drink packages. Even the premium wine and beer doesn't include all wines, but only ones below 12.50. Most wine cost around 6-8 and beer about the same. The premium didn't include all champagne or even sparkling water.
