Review summary

Liberty of the Seas had a lot to offer us while on board the ship. They were very accommodating and provided a variety of shows and entertainment while sailing at sea. The food in the main dining was good, but I wish that there were more options to eat throughout the day without needing to spend money (hence why I dropped one of my stars). Other than that, the ship was great and my wife and I would love to sail aboard this ship again.

It worked, but it was kind of small. We weren't in the room that often so it didn't bother us at all.

The food on RC was pitiful !! Even room service chocolate chip cookies were gross!! Very disappointed in the food. Royal used to be "Royal"

We are Dimond on Royal and Platinum on Carnival and it is my opinion that Royal is worth the little difference in $$... but again my opinion, the food on Carnival in the main dining room is better. ...

Arguing? I was just giving information as to the food Liberty offers at no extra charge. I've heard the "Walmart" opinion about Carnival, but I can't judge since I've never been on one. I believe it's a personal preference. Each cruise line(and ship) can be a very different experience. Even two cruises on the same ship can be very different. I discovered that personally. I don't think I would ever turn down a cruise regardless as to which ship it is! I'm addicted! 😂😆😍

Andddd, nice post DallinGeorge!

I don't see one person in this post saying that, or appearing to be defensive . if we were on the same ship I believe I'd have to buy you a drink so you can relax . Cruising is so much fun no matter what boat you're on. Jallaway, have a great time on your RC cruise at the end of the month.

Sheeze, its almost every post that some has to reply "its the Walmart of the seas". It's stoopid that any post has to have a disclaimer to prove a point.

based on people's comments, several of them have been on both so they ARE stating their opinion from personal experience . if you don't want to argue, why are you jumping in to say that the people that don't agree with you "must not know what they are talking about". are you a liberal?? 😜 jk

Carnival has much more food variety of complimentary items. I don't want to extend the pointless argument of which is better; but, if you don't believe me, you haven't been on a Carnival ship lately.

There is also Paella and BBQ by the pool at no extra charge.

Oh yeah! I forgot to mention that the main dining room has breakfast, lunch and dinner at not extra charge as well.

Liberty also does lunch in the main dinning on sea days I've been told it's fabulous

and Johnny Rockets is about 5.00 for all you can eat. they have the best Swiss mushroom burger! Eat all you can then order another to take with you..😉

The Liberty has breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet at no extra charge. Room service, The Promenade Cafe and Serentos are also at no charge. Chops Grille, Sabor, the Italian restaurant (forgot name)and Johnny Rockets cost extra.

when do you have lunch buffet, room service, fast food and snack options for free at lunch hours? on carnival our options are plenty, from Guys Burgers to Mongolian Wok to room service to Pizza and a deli, all at no additional cost. I just assumed all cruise lines have lunch at no additional cost.
