Review summary

Liberty of the Seas staff & crew - top notch!  Our vacation began with walking into a very spacious interior stateroom!  We were not sure what to expect, but there was plenty of space to move around.  The stateroom was clean and our stateroom attendant and those on our deck were friendly and top notch.  We chose My Time Dining and we were absolutely overwhelmed with the staff in the main dining room.  Our waiter, Jesus, and asst waiter, Luckner were most enjoyable!  We enjoyed many of the activities on-board-the Flow Rider truly is as much fun as it sounds. The entertainment on board was great with many options.  We enjoyed the Schooner with JR Neal and his piano!  The shows were the best we have experienced from any cruise line!!  Great getaway on a clean ship, smiling & friendly crew, with Captain Rune- Liberty of the Seas!

Lots of choices, but we preferred the Manhattan steak on their daily menu.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

Shows were family friendly and overall great productions!!

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Dreamworks characters kept the feel kid-friendly.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Jesus and Luckner in the Main Dining Room are exceptional and friendly! By far our favorite dining experience because of them and Muhammed (Head Waiter) who checked on us often around the ship!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
exceptionally clean ship! Our only complaint would be the multiple tables clogging the Promenade during the sales.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We like interior cabins, but this by far was spacious and quiet. Cabin Steward was friendly and helpful. He kept our ice bucket filled and our towels replenished without our even asking! Monkey, elephant, frog towel designs were a neat treat each night, too!

Ship tip

Plan ahead on what you would like to do at each port so you have the right shoes or clothes for your experience. Water shoes and sunscreen are a must for any Caribbean port. We found the best deal once we debarked the ship for the Stingray/Snorkeling excursion!

On our first cruise we had an interior room. We slept great every night since it was so dark. Our "alarm" clock was room service. We ordered coffee every morning. It was always there at the time requested.

I haven't done a inside cabin since my first cruise over 20 yrs ago so I'm no help with that. When is ur cruise.....maybe u might want 2 upgrade to a ocean view cabin.... Me i do nothing but balconies now so i can sit out and enjoy my coffee and watch the sun come up!! .

This is my 1st cruise ever and I have an interior room on Liberty. Any advice about the room? Is it super dark, should I bring a nightlight/flashlight? How do you know when it's morning? A friend on another cruise line said she had a tv that showed the sun rise. Same on RC?

Bring some ziplock bags and you can get some snacks from the buffet to take with you to the pool or to your room. I grabbed extra fruit off the buffet and took to the room so I had a fresh pear every morning on our balcony. You don't need to bring extra snacks unless you bring some sealed stuff to take on excursions, but even then there was way too much food.

Oh, and what I also meant to say, you won't get hungry while on board, there is so much food available.Room service was a little lacking, we order a couple of hamburgers one night about 10 and they said it would be brought to us in an hour, however, it was 2:00am before we got it, then they tried to charge us the after midnight fee but I protested and it was removed.

I took a big bag of snacks on board with me (in case I got hungry) as long as it's sealed snacks you shouldn't have a problem. Don't take fruit on or off board. They have a fruit sniffing dog at cozumel and will check your bags and take any fruit you have. I carried little packages of peanut butter crackers with me and sealed bottle of water. No problem with those.

You can bring two bottle per person at the different ports. They store it for you and bring it to you the night before you get back to galveston.

So was wanting to know what the reality is. I know you can't bring alcoholic beverages except wine but we don't drink wine. Any advice you can give will be appreciated!!

We are going on Liberty Of The Seas in two weeks & can't wait!! I've enjoyed reading all the great reviews! This is our first cruise & have some questions I hope someone can answer. Wondering what you are allowed to bring as far as snacks, bottled water, soft drinks etc. I read what the site said about it but also read where some people stated they were allowed to bring them onboard
