Review summary

From the moment we walked on the ship, I could see it was disorganized. We were not directed where to go, just sent in one direction on a deck. All other cruises, we would have entered inside the ship with a great 1st impression. The cheese/cracker and fruit platter was another disappointment and wine we pre-ordered for the room. The crackers were saltines, chunks of orange cheddar cheese, one strawberry for 3 woman. We were told the ship was newly reburished, the room and all other areas did NOT reflect this. The room attendant, when asked about the ship being reburished, he said "where did that happen? Certainly not in your room". We made the best of our time together but was really disappointed because 2 of us had boosted about Royal for our 1st time cruiser friend. Just to have average service, less than acceptable food and ship lower than average.

States it's been refurbished, but could not see this. Room was horrible, worn and carpet smelled.

The port we left at was a more a commercial ship yard with very little direction where to go. Any help you asked for they put their hand out for a tip. nothing like the luxury of porting out for a Disney or other Royal lines

Strange how things change ,we were this ship 3 times and never had a problems. Going on R C again in December for our 53 Anniversary i bet it will be great

I agree it was high on the reviews yet I was very disappointed. they were unorganized and the food was bad... long lines and safe choices at buffet ....the towel animals were only done for 3 of 5 days ... pools over crowded bec there were not many planned activities

just got off today worst cruise I have ever been on . The food was not as good as it was in the past and nobody knows what is going on you can ask 5 people a question and you would get a different answer. tendering at bar harbor was a disaster again the crew had no idea what was going on took us a 1 1/2 hours to get off almost missed our tour . the 930 tour left at 1030 because things were so bad. there was pushing get and yelling halls were so bad that the people in their cabins could not get out. the toilet in our room was over flowing at 3 am and it took 2 phone calls and 45 minutes for someone to show up . I had to keep flushing the toilet every 15 seconds until someone showed up

We have travel on royal Caribbean 8 times.the last time the food was not up to par. We have noticed that the perks have been declining. Went on Carnival one time and their standards we good.

I am very surprised to hear this about a Royal Caribbean ship. I have been traveling on RC for the past 8 yrs or so and I have only good things to say about my cruises. 10/3 will be my first time on "Liberty" and I really believe they will live up to their high standards, I hope no to be disappointed. I will post upon my return, can't wait for my vacation....
