Review summary

We traveled the first week of Dec 2014 with 2 kids 15 &12 years old .  They had the best time with the teen programs!  Encourage your teens to quit being embarrassed and go meet other kids!   Ours did and made some awesome friends with kids from all over the US and Europe.  Of course they ditched Mom and Dad but after feeling bad for about 5 minutes we got to do whatever we wanted too!  The weather wasn't great for 4 out of the 5 days but rainy weather in Jamaica is still 75-80 degrees and much much better than 8 inches of snow at home!  I felt bad for people who didn't even get off the ship in JA because it was pouring.  Um, because you aren't going to get wet while climbing up the Falls??   Climbing Dunns River Falls was one of the coolest things I've ever done!   Food was good  and having a balcony room was worth the extra $.  One downer was that  we never got the chance to use the ice rink and flow rider or rock wall :(   (the kids did because they had scheduled times with the teen programs)  You have to really pay close attention and pre-book or be in the right spot an hour before the "open to anyone" times.  I wish Royal Caribbean would have altered their activities because of the bad weather and  offered more times for open skating and other indoor stuff.  The weather closed down the rock wall, flow rider, mini golf and even the pools at times.  Also, the acting in the Sat Night Fever Show was almost torturous to sit through!  Then later that night my son and 3 other 14ish year old boys were in the hot tub and the male and female lead roles in SNF got in the jacuzzi with them and proceeded to "literally eat each others faces off and arms and legs and butts and boobs were flopping around everywhere!!"  -quote from my son!!  Really people!??? In front of a bunch of teenage boys??  Now that's professionalism at its best! :)  SICKOS!!!

Need more "open to everyone" times for skating, flow rider, rock wall ect.

Entertainment

Ice show was great but SNF sucked and the cirqe de whatever show was only ok. This was the very first showing of it so I'm sure they will continue to iron out the kinks.

Mom and Dad had a balcony room and kids were across the hall in an interior room. Worked out great for both!

Waiting in lines at port is never fun and I don't understand why the whole process is so slow

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

Beautiful Beach! Get off ship early for best beach spots. We didn't and wished we would have.
