Review summary

From the moment we entered this beautiful vessel, we were amazed at everything she had to offer! Having cruised many times, we knew what one would experience on aWindjammert cruise with only one port of call. I have to say we were pleasantly surprised! The entertainment on this ship was exceptional...especially the ice skating show! There was great entertainment each night. As far as dining goes, we weren't disappointed at all. Our group like to eat whenever we want and not spend 2 hours each night at dinner, so we chose to eat in the Windjammer casual buffet 3 of our 4-nights. We opted to eat in Chops steakhouse for our last night. It is a reservation only dining venue and worth every penny of the $30 per person additional charge. We did dine in the main dining room for a special lunch during one of our sea days, as they were offering an exceptional salad bar and pasta special for no additional charge and no special dress code. All of our group was very satisfied, as the service was excellent and the food delicious. Of course, the fact that we were seated at a huge picture window where we literally witnessed dolphin playing and jumping in the wild added to the whole experience! We found the ship to be extremely clean, tidy, fresh, and updated. We found all employees to be very friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and happy to assist at every corner. Our CD, Luke Arrowsmith, was awesome! He had a great stage presence, funny morning show on the ship's tv, and did a great job of communication throughout the cruise! The only thing I would warn potential cruisers about leaving on the Liberty of the Seas out of Ft. Lauderdale, is that the ramp/walkway up onto the ship is EXTREMELY STEEP! So much so, that if you're not in good physical shape, you may opt to request a wheelchair and have assistance in boarding the ship at this location. All of that said, we would do it again and again and again, as we loved every minute of it! Royal Caribbean has NEVER disappointed me! :)
