Schooner Bar on Liberty of the Seas

Called in here most nights after dinner for the music trivia. The host was very engaging.

When we first entered the ship the first place our guys saw that they could plop down and get a beer was the Schooner Bar. It was love at first beer.lol After that we knew where to meet up if anyone in our group was missing. In other words if my husband was MIA I knew where to find him. They made my husband feel at home and like he was part of the gang at The Schooner. We would walk by and the bartenders would yell "Hey there's Thomas. Hi Thomas." Waitresses were professional and service was excellent. They make the drinks right and no watering down at this venue! They host trivia and the Hunt for the differrent Nationalities search at the Schooner. They also have a piano player in the evenings but we were never there at that time. This bar is near the opening of the casinoe. Some complained about the smoke smell in the bar on this forum but I didn't notice it. As I got closer to the entry of the casino I could smell the smoke but they really keep the smoke issue in check outside of the casino. I highly bar when staying on the Liberty of the Seas!

While not very big alcohol drinkers, we spent a lot of time here playing the trivia games. I want to commend the bar staff for not pushing the alcohol on us or making is feel unwelcome because we were not making purchases.

The bartenders at the schooner bar were very slow, and we waited a long time for drinks, even when the bar was not busy. As with the pool bar, we were very disappointed.
