Review summary

I love sea days so 6 days over and 5 days back wa just fine with me. A holiday cruise so there were more families with kids. I had a great time. Weather can always change the itinerary but safety first! The unplanned sea day was filled with many activities.

I had an early check in time but things were running late as usual. I kept waving my boarding pass and proclaiming my 4 star status to get in the proper line. The security person didn’t believe me when I said I would set off the metal detector. After that I was on board very quickly.

I ate there 3 times including the Morimoto’s pop up , the Indonesian dinner night and the regular menu. It was all great. This was only accessible from the aft elevator.

Good selection of beers Herring is too salty. Excellent fries.

I felt like I was in France.

Piano players were good. Harold the bartender was excellent. It was also a good place to listen to the overly loud rock band nearby.

The cabin was lovely but might be small for two people. It was on deck 10 and only accessible from the forward elevator. No problems with noisy people but there was wind noise and more motion from being forward and high. This was not a problem for me.

I took a wonderful tour of a local farm. Rainbow Falls is on the property so there was an incredible view. I would do it again and again. This was a small group of 12 Bring rain gear. It rains a lot in Hilo.

Opposite side of the island. Tour visited the coffee company, a famous painted church and the “Place of Refuge “ National Park. It was a good tour.

Embarking was running behind and lines were confusing. Once through security, it was smooth sailing. Debarking was easy
