This is an adult’s itinerary…the weather in Iceland was snowy, then wet then light jacket and pleasant..Edinburg your biggest port…but you’re seeing places that are different.

Stayed next door at the Movenpik hotel….two minute walk to cruise terminal..a further 3 minutes to drop bags, scan app and be on board…was the easiest boarding ever!

Vastly improved from our November cruise on Brilliance.
Main dining Room…. staff ( for our table) scored a 10+ ..attentive, precise, and on time.
Giovanni’s Table… average meals, great service.
Windjammer lowers the score, limited selections some days, many repeats, and no lunch time Carvery stations.
Taste of Riyal lunch tomorrow…will review later
Passed on Chefs table as it’s the same menu as last sailing…c’mon RC…freshen it up!

Here’s where I can say things are much better. From the windjammer to can’t bar, lots of attentive staff. Always clearing tables, getting you a coffee or drink, cleaners all over the ship…very happy with all departments.

Great location .clean comfortable private ocean view. Weather has been mostly snowy or wet or cold so this was a great choice ove4 a balcony this cruise…only downside…noisy when they let the anchor out..lol
Quiet, small and unless you have an excursion and short walk about is plenty…BUT if you want to have a meal ashore…go to the Centrum restaurant and have the Salmon ..OMG ..one of the best ever!…of course have a local beer with it.
Took a Mr Puffin boat tour. Private from the harbour but away from where the ship docks. Day two did the Golden circle. Lots of bus time but the Falls and Geyser make up for it.
