The word cruise to me implies the ship is actually moving. You can drive from Dubai to Abu Dhabi in 1.5 hours. It took RC 24 hours to cover 65 miles. We also spent 3 days tied to a dock out of 7. They skipped Bahrain so we spend an extra day tied to the dock in Abu Dhabi. This isn't really a city made for tourists. The mosque is worth visiting for half a day. The other day and a half spent there was boring. Qatar was also not impressive. The old souk had burned down years ago and was rebuilt to look like an old souk. Interesting for a couple of hours of souvenir shopping but not much more.
