Review summary

This is the worst ship out of all the royal cruise lines. This is the only ship that does not have a promenade floor where the main events take place and where the cafe and pizza places are. It’s almost like you took the front and back of anyone of the other ships and put them together with taking out the whole center part. You could smell the cigarette smoke all throughout the floors when you overlook at the stairs because of poor ventilation and poor design of the ship. The hallways smelled musty especially by my room which was a junior suite. When I walked in the musty smell was also in the room and an opened soap bar was in the shower indicating that the bathroom was not cleaned prior to me entering the room. When we complained about the smell covered the smell with overwhelming smell of bleach. My flight was late getting in and we signed in at 6 and were told to bring our own bags upstairs. So I dragged on my 2 bags into a very tiny elevator causing the people o there to have to back all the way up to the sides of the elevator and I dragged them around while I was looking for my room with no one to help me. To top it off they require you to pay a $9 fee for room service which is unlike all the other ships. The windjammer closes at 10 and because they have no promonade the only place to eat is this little stand next to the pool outside where you can get some cookies, pizza, and hot dogs, and small egg sandwiches. For the final note if you are in question which ship to choose for your vacation do not choose this ship.
