GREAT PORTS OF CALL

Sail Date: September 01, 2014

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

PROS: THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY\, THE SPA WAS WONDERFUL. THE PORTS OF CALL WERE NICE PLACES TO VISIT WITH AMPLE TIME TO SEE THE SIGHTS YOU WANTED TO SEE. VERY CLEAN SHIP.
CONS: THE POOL WAS TO SMALL TO ACCOMODATE THE 2400 PASSENGERS ON SEA DAYS. THE FOOD WAS BLAND AND UNINTERESTING IN THE WINDJAMMER AND MAIN DINING ROOM. THE AIR HANDLERS DID NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY TO ALLOW FRESH AIR INTO THE ROOMS RESULTING IN A LOT OF PEOPLE DEVELOPING COUGHS\, SNEEZING ATTACKS AND BRONCHIAL IRRITATIONS.

Pros: SPA\, FRIENDLY STAFF\, GREAT PORTS OF CALL

Cons: FOOD WAS BLAND\, AIR UNITS DID NOT PROPERLY FILTER THE AIR CAUSING PASSENGERS TO GET SICK\, POOL NEEDS TO BE LARGER TO ACCOMODATE SEA DAYS

Recommends Jewel of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
VERY BLAND\, NOT MUCH FLAVOR
Cabin / Stateroom
I HAD TO OPEN MY BALCONY DOOR TO ALLOW FRESH AIR IN\, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS VERY HOT AND HUMID OUTDOORS.
Service and Staff
