Review summary
The ship itself is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The crew, particularly the servers in the special restaurants and in the Vortex Club, was amazingly friendly and welcoming. We had an especially great meal at Chops on Christmas evening: Food was superb, service was excellent, ambiance was warm and relaxing. My wife and I have cruised several times on several different lines, and we agree that this is the most pleasant shipboard experience we've ever had.Ship experiences
Food and Dining
In the special restaurants the food was excellent and the service very accomodating. In the main dining room\, the portions were very small\, the dishes mediocre\, and the service rushed.
Entertainment
The entertainment aboard was \"so-so\"\, and so we spent most evening in the dance club.
Service and Staff
With the single exception of the young man distributing towels at the pool\, every staff member with whom we interacted was fantastic.
Ship Quality
Beautiful!
Cabin / Stateroom
We had a small (junior) suite with a balcony on the stern of the ship\, and it was excellent.
Pros: Service\, staff\, cleanliness\, courtesy
Cons: Except for the special restaurants (Portofino and Chops)\, the food was mediocre.
