Review summary

Shock and disappointed! We've been on several RCCL cruises, but never experienced bad service. Staff typically are friendly and go out of their way to help....not on this boat. While on board the Jewel, my husband tried to book another cruise for later this year on the Oasis but the women, after spending several minutes chatting with another crew member about a recipe, knew little information about the boat and the accessible wheelchair rooms. She didn't offer any information and pretty much wanted him to go away so she could finish her conversation....just one example.

Wow, head waiter at Tides was not impressive. He was clearly there to "do his job" and apparently that doesn't include smiling. Our servers were great! Very responsive and cheerful.

Except for our stateroom attendant and waiters, the rest were awful. We almost got the feeling they were all just given bad news. They just were not what we ever experienced.....not so sure we will go again.

We sailed Navigator last year and were told the Jewel was nicer. No way. Jewel had very limited shopping and clearly was not as nice as the Navigator.
