Review summary

The ship was wonderful! There were so many ammenities, that it took us the whole week to figure out where everything was, and we still didn't get to do everything. The crew was attentive and seemed to follow-through on any special request a guest made. They were very accomodating. The Oasis will be our next stop!

I'm sure it's hard to keep food fresh for a week at sea. The dishes that had fish in them were pretty fishy, but there was such an endless supply of food, you could just order something else. The food was good enough that we saw no need to go to the specialty restaurants, but then we work at a high end restaurant, so we may be the wrong people to ask. :)

There was so much going on, that you always felt as though you were missing something! i recommend sitting down with the days planner the night before and mapping out all the things you're interested in, so that you hit as much as possible.

I had a junior suite on my last cruise, and thought the balcony would be plenty of space. It was doable, but the difference in size from the next upgrade was probably half the space. It was absolutely spottless and the furnishings comfortable. So for anyone that doesn't mind tight quarters, these are the tight quarters to be in.

Pros: The amenities and the ever-ready to please crew

Cons: The non-refundable paid for excursion in Cozumel that no one ever showed up for. Cost a lot of money and a lot of grief!

Recommends Jewel of the Seas? Yes!
