Review summary

After a freak storm in Miami left all planes to fly elsewhere we were late to get to Maimi to catch the ship. After a Royal Caribbean representative finally shuffled us onto a bus and said they would board us on the ship, we arrived on the pier to have them tell us they would not allow us to board. They knew about the storm and the issues with arrivals of planes and made no attempt to assist those delayed passengers by delaying the sailing of the ship. SHAME ON ROYAL CARIBBEAN for leaving 30 passengers stranded. We missed out on half the cruise and we had to absorb the expense of getting to the next port to catch the ship. We are FINISHED!! with Royal Caribbean. We will never forgive them for what they did to us.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food was not that great. Not a good selection on the menu.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Very good shows. The best part of the cruise.

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
Cruise Director was unfair and uncaring about us not being allowed to board the ship in Miami. She blamed all of us for not getting there on time. Dining room staff never asked us if we wanted something to drink with our meal.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Very nice ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
A colorfun bedspread would add a lot more to the appearance of the room. Bathroom way too small.

Pros: The entertainment

Cons: The lack of concern from the Cruise Director after she left myself, my husband 28 other passengers stranded on the pier in Miami.

Recommends Jewel of the Seas? No.
