I will attempt to answer your question(s) given that I think you are asking more than one question in your first sentence. Their are "Dress to Impress" nights that were previously called formal nights. Depending on the number of cruise days, you can have more than one "Dress to Impress" night. you will also have a Caribbean Night, White Night, and Casual Nights. The only time you will get to interact with the Captain is during a Top Tier event, or if the Captain holds an open question and answer session in a predetermined area of the ship.
