Review summary

We really enjoyed this itinerary and the ship, staff, food, and balance of activities. The date was late and we heard “you are the last ship of the season” a lot. Not much fall color but still a great cruise!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The only mediocre meal we experienced was in Polo the last night-otherwise we enjoyed delicious and varied food. Toscana our favorite!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We enjoyed almost nightly trivia games. Oceania could provide a better range of speakers (who really know the area to which the ship sailed)

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Evening entertainment varied from good to excellent. Best by daft for us was Cruose Director Carson’s solo show! He is gifted.

Children's Programs

No kids on the cruise.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff was there to please, almost always fond with a smile. Our butler Rathesh and room stewardess Esmerelda were both outstanding.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Spotless even though a few items were looking a bit worn. It is a nice size ship with places to relax and/ or join friends. We especially enjoyed Baristas, with cozy furniture and excellent coffee.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Compact but very well-designed bathroom, very good storage, and nice furnishings.

Ship tip

Enjoy all the lovely art on the ship - they have a scavenger hunt to document it and that takes you all over the ship. Fun!

Enjoyed the trolley that we could sign up for right as we left the ship (and charged to our room).

Newport, Rhode Island

Beautiful town and loved the colonial buildings. The drive out to the Grand Mansions was nice. Rosehill Mansion was a disappointment.
