Review summary

We went on this cruise to level up to Diamond status. By surprise, we booked the panoramic suite and found hidden perks throughout our entire journey. Well worth the additional money paid. From the room to the staff, the food and service, this would rank in the top of the list. We are RCCL members for life.

Embarkation

Very smooth and easy. 10 minutes from car to ship

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was wonderful. Had a tasty filet from Chop's. Breakfast was off the menu each morning as was dinner. We had Fish 'n Ships one afternoon it was just like being in England again.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We did not use most of the on board entertainment. However, we did watch those using it and they all looked as though the fun never ended. The fitness center was well equipped and easy to navigate. The Solarium hot tub was large for many adults to use and never felt crowded.

Entertainment

I did not attend

Children's Programs

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
From captain to laundry, the service on the ship was excellent. The wait staff, the room attendant and other staff throughout the ship were always friendly and eager to assist me at any time. A friendly smile was always given.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship had a nice layout. The Promenade was nice to stroll. There were a few shops and restaurants in it. The English pub was a nice touch. Love the pizza place. It always had what you needed.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had the panoramic suite on deck 12. It gave us a 180 degree view out the bow of the ship. The room was extra spacious and could sleep 4 easily, possibly 6, if you had smaller kids. It had 1.5 bathrooms. The best part was the Suite class on the ship comes with access to the Suite lounge on Deck 14. Here we had a concierge attendant. She was fabulous. The room was open 24 hours a day. Continental breakfast, lunch and light pre-dinner snacks were served. The was an open bar from 4:30 - 8:00pm each night. Finally, we had our own departure time and area from which to leave the ship. This group is a small number of people and made the process very simple.

Ship tip

Take the "All Access" tour. It will provide some education about how the ship functions, as well as, provides perspective about how hard the staff works for you.

Ports of call

George Town, Grand Cayman

The port was clean and well organized. We did an excursion to the turtle sanctuary

Agree, the all access tour is very enlightening. Buy it before the cruise and save $$.
