Review summary

Just got off the Indy today. If you are travelling with children or teenagers you will love it. The recent refit has seriously kiddified the ship. Added are laser tag, virtual reality trampolines, escape room, climbing frames, water slides etc. The gym is smaller, the deck 12 walkway around the front of the ship has gone as has the Labyrinth disco, to make way for 120 plus cabins. The result is serious overcrowding in all public areas with no available seats after dinner. Food has improved and the staff are great. If you are loyal to Royal, the concierge lounge is for top suite and Pinnacle guests with D and D+ crammed into the old D lounge. This seems to be the way of new ships and refits. After 20 plus RCCL cruises, this is probably our last. I'm sure many will love the ship, but for us, it's time to move on.
