Review summary

The ship was beautiful--the art work throughout, including the Shakespeare themed dining rooms, enhanced the layout. Sparkling clean, with a state of the art workout facility, topped with a serene chapel, the Independence of the Seas is our favorite.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Disappointed with the Windjammer--jammed with too many people many days\, and a limited selection of healthy salads. No outdoor dining options like other ships in the fleet added to the crowded mess.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Stunning ice shows. Lots of variety\, with some exceptional entertainment (the Motown group.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our dining team was exceptional\, as was the stateroom attendant. A mix-up with our romance package delivery was solved in a professional\, respectful manner.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

Seemed larger--loved the room and the balcony.

Pros: Ice skating show.

Cons: Crowded\, noisy Windjammer.
