Yes a Driver's license with birth certificate for adults and just a birth certificate for kids is fine.

The birth certificate MUST be a certified copy of the original; obtained from the appropriate government agency in your area. They are VERY particular about this.

If you’re married and changed your name I’d bring a marriage certificate. They may want a bridging document. If you’ve got the time just get a passport. Taking less than two months. And saves so many hassles especially at the terminal (both ends)
