Review summary
Overall the ship was in good shape, etc. Of course it is old & will be retiring soon but would have nice if windows looking out of rooms were a little more clear. Shipe was kept clean. Of course was a little hard to find things @ times since couldn't get to all areas on a deck from each area (forward didn't always connect to the back w/out having to go up & back down). Food was OK, but nothing that great. Everything was a little bland. We did have a great time as a family but wish there were things to do earlier in the evening while your kids were @ Camp Carnival. The shows, karaoke, etc. began way too late for Camp Carnival to be over. I realize we could pay for babysitting services, but 10-3am is too late for little ones to be left w/ strangers.Ports of call
Pros: The trips @ port. The excellent room steward.
Cons: Too hard to get drinks for kids outside of actual restaurant (like milk, juice, etc.). Didn't appreciate having to pay for $2.50 for small glass of orange juice (for a 3 year old)@ one of the bars so wouldn't have to go 3 flights to get to the buffet to get juice. Not enough shows, etc early!
Recommends Holiday? Yes!
